With the recent ticket price of watching a movie on the big screens, many movie-goers want some form of insurance that the movie they hope to watch is one worth the money. A great free online resource that has movie reviews is RottenTomatoes.com. Every movie released is given a rating by RottenTomatoes based on both positive and negative reviews from major movie critics. The site itself does not write movie reviews. Based on both the rating and reviews, you yourself can decide to watch the movie at the theatres, or possibly wait and rent it later.
But if you're not a fan of the critic reviews, the Internet Movie Database (IMDB.com) is a site that not only give a synopsis of almost every movie made, but also allows fellow movie watchers to voice their opinion. Read the reviews of your average moviegoer for almost any movie. And if there isn't a review yet, why not be the first to post one!
The internet is full of great free resources, and if there are any other awesome sites, feel free to drop a line to let us all know!
