AIM Trition 1.5 Review

AIM Trition has come a long way since the first beta version was released. Before, Triton was slow, bloated, and took forever to load which is why many people switched back to AIM Classical 5.9 version. Now, Triton runs much faster and smoother. Odds are that the Triton developers realized the problem and toned down many of the graphical features to meet user needs. One simple, yet amazingly powerful change is that the install process no longer forces you to install the AOL Browser, reset your homepage, or sign up with Plaxo. The Mail, Mobile, Talk, and Transfer features all work. They also have plugins, although they have not been fully tested, for you to use with Triton to provide further functionality. Click here to check out all the free AIM Plugins. I currently have a plugin installed that updates the song in my profile automatically as it plays in Winamp. Additionally, they have a plugin that logs your chats automatically. As usual, all the chat windows are now tabbed into a single window. If you haven't checked out Triton in awhile, now is the time to give it another shot! Go to AIM.com and download the latest version!
